Yorkshire Wolds Way

The Yorkshire Wolds Way follows 79 miles of beautiful and untouched landscape in the North of England. Wide open spaces, tranquil surroundings and quaint charming villages are some of the highlights along the trail. Being one of the quietest National Trails you will find yourself strolling through the wild flora and exquisite countryside before being welcomed by local country inns.

Starting in the quiet town of Hessle in the East Riding of Yorkshire the walk makes its way towards the North Sea. You can marvel at the wild beauty of the ‘rolling chalk hills’ and even stray off the path slightly to visit such delights as the local craft shops and galleries. For the finishing touch the journey ends in the bustling seaside town of Filey, right on the coastline.

Your Yorkshire Wolds Way holiday features hand-picked overnight accommodation in high quality B&B’s, country inns, and guesthouses. Each is unique and offers the highest levels of welcome, atmosphere and outstanding local cuisine. We also include daily door to door baggage transfers, a comprehensive guidebook and pre departure information pack as well as emergency support , should you need it

Highlights:

  • Wander through the Deserted Medieval village at Wharram Percy
  • Enjoy a local Ale in the 'Wold Top Brewery' at Hunmanby Grange Farm
  • Roam the rolling chalk hills of the Yorkshire Wolds
  • Experience a warm northern welcome at the local B&B's
