The nature of our private guiding service means that teh programme is tailored to your needs and will vary according to the route chosen, time of year and weather conditions.
Your guide will normally meet you at a designated start point or at yoru accommodation in Fort William. After a full briefing and kit check we hit the trail and get down to the serious business of climbing the mountain by your chosen route.
Most groups spend anything between 7 and 11 hours on the mountain and we will have regular stops for snacks, drinks, photos and lunch. All designed so that you get the most from your experience of climbing Ben Nevis.
If you are coming up with a group we can also arrange all transfers, accommodation and meals. Just contact us for details and we will put together a proposal for your group.
In winter we would strongly recommend that you book a minimum of two days private guiding if you have no previous experience of winter walking so that we can spend the first day learning those essential winter skills.
The most popular route and recommended for those with limited experience. It is a very challenging route from Oct - Apr during the winter months.

In winter (Oct - Apr) Ben Nevis offers a true challenge and really comes into it's own as a challenge. The mountain track can be booked as a 1 day ascent. More challenging routes can only be booked as two days so we can do a day of winter skills training.
