Our Ben Nevis walking guides are some of the best in the business. Passionate, professional, charming and knowledgable. (I'll stop there before I get carried away). They are dedicated to ensuring that you have a safe, enjoyable and memorable experience on Ben Nevis.
All our guides/leaders hold the appropriate summer or winter Mountain Leaders Award from the Mountain Leader Training Association and a recognised first aid qualification. All have years of experience of enjoying the outdoors and working in the hills. Most have a range of outdoor qaulifications and a few of them have even bagged all the munros. Generally they can be relied on to look after you well and tell bad jokes.
We keep our groups small (maximum 8) to ensure that you get the best personal attention and the most from your weekend. There is always a range of abilities and experience in the group and your leader will ensure you feel safe, confident and included at all times. Generally our groups are a mix of people travelling alone, as a couple or with a few friends.
This weekend is graded moderate to strenuous and it is important that you have a good base level of fitness. If the last time you went for a walk was 10 years ago and lifting the remote is classed as a workout this is probably not the trip for you. But if you know you need a goal to get back on your bike, go to the gym and do some walking then get booked up and start training!
Having the correct equipment and clothing will keep you comfortable and safe in the sometimes extreme environment that we choose to enjoy ourselves in. We supply a full equipment list, most of which you will probably have already. Download summer Ben Nevis kit list
