An action packed weekend climbing Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain. We take care of everything so that you can concentrate on the challenge of getting yourself to the summit of Ben Nevis.
Your friendly guide will collect you from Glasgow early on Saturday morning, transfer you to Fort William and guide you up Ben Nevis. Standing at 1344m on the west coast of Scotland Ben Nevis is a real challenge in anyone's book and our professional, fully qualified guides are dedicated to getting you to the top safely hopefully with a big smile!
Ben Nevis is a tough challenge. We start at sea level and climb to 1344m. The climb takes most groups 4 to 5 hours and the descent 3 to 4 hours giving a total time on the mountain of 7 to 9 hours. The path is well maintained, although snow often stays on the summit well into the summer and the weather can be wild.
On a good day the views are unforgettable and stretch from the Isle of Skye in the West to the Cairngorms in the East. On a bad day the challenge is even greater and although you may not enjoy every moment on the Ben you will have a huge sense of achievement.
After a exhilarating day we enjoy dinner and a few beers to celebrate in Fort William before crashing at our accommodation in Fort William. On Sunday we enjoy a leg stretching low level walk in either Glen Nevis, Glencoe or Kinlochleven before heading back to Glasgow.
The Ben Nevis Adventure is perfectly suited to those short on time who want to get the most from their weekend and add a big tick to the Ben Nevis box on life's To Do List. We take care of all the arrangements and climbing with our experienced guides gives you the very best chance of success on Ben Nevis.

“We got back from Scotland last night having climbed Ben Nevis on Saturday feeling thoroughly exhilarated and proud of ourselves. I wish to thank yourself and Peter for such a wonderful experience - we thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather was perfect and the summit was very clear… we could see Skye and Mull. I think someone up there was definitely on our side that day! Peter was a thoroughly excellent, informative and very motivating guide and made our first ascent up Ben Nevis a very fulfilling and thoroughly enjoyable one. Thank you very much for all your help with this matter.”
