Pittville Pump Room in Cheltenham Pittville Pump Room in Cheltenham Bourton-on-the-Water A quintessential Cotswold Village A beautiful view over the Cotswolds

The Cotswold Round

Starting in the Regency town of Cheltenham this circular walk links the picturesque towns of the North Cotswolds with some of the most scenic walking in England. Walk between the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds and discover why the Cotswolds are a honey pot for walkers.

Your journey begins in Cheltenham Spa, the most complete regency town in England. Regency townhouses, recognisable by their intricate ironwork balconies and stucco facades line the pavilions, squares and terraces. Your route then takes you north along the prettiest section of the Cotswold Way to the classic Cotswold villages of Winchcombe, Stanton, Broadway and Chipping Campden. Here you turn south to return via the Cotswold gems of Moreton-in-Marsh, Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water to complete the round.

Typical Cotswold cottages and villages, lush green countryside, historic houses, welcoming country pubs and inviting shops make the Cotswolds a walkers paradise and during the week you spend in the Cotswolds you are sure to fall in love with the Cotswolds over and over again.

Your holiday includes hand picked accommodation in B&B’s, guesthouses and country inns, daily door to door baggage transfer, a comprehensive information pack and emergency support. If you prefer a little more luxury you can also upgrade to three and four star comfortable country hotels.

Highlights:

  • Strolling through the Regency splendour of the Pittville Pump Room
  • Exploring the quiet lanes of picturesque Cotswold villages.
  • Enjoying the friendly atmosphere and great food of a Cotswold country pub.
  • Hand picked accommodation offering the warmest of welcomes.
  • Discovering the numerous abbeys, historic houses and ruins which litter the area.
