Fife Coastal Path Short Break Overview

The Fife Coastal Path Short Break is the perfect way to discover the wild and spectacular natural landscape of the East Coast. The walk will take you past many of Fifes coastal communities aswell as passing the historic Wemyss caves and many castle ruins. Averaging at 10 miles per day this walk is suited to regular walkers and is the perfect introduction to long distance walking.

Your journey starts in Kirkcaldy which can be easily reached from Edinburgh by train. Dysart follows where you can visit the Harbourmasters House with its wealth of information about the area. East Wymes follows where you can visit the famous pre-historic caves and Macduff Castle. From Leven to Elie you pass through golf courses and you walk on the Elie Chainwalk which many say is Fifes best kept secret. Try an award winning fish supper in Anstruther harbour while listening to the seabirds as they soar above the waves. This walk really gives you a chance to explore Scotlands rich history while offering fantastic views from the coast.

This short break features hand-picked overnight accommodation in high quality B&B’s, country inns, and guesthouses. Each is unique and offers the highest levels of welcome, atmosphere and outstanding local cuisine. We also include daily door to door baggage transfers, a detailed map and route notes and pre-departure information pack as well as emergency support, should you need it.
