The beautiful island of Guernsey nestles in the bay of St Malo, 70 miles off the south coast of England. Walking around the islands 39 mile coastline will be an experience that leaves a lasting impression. Hidden bays with crystal clear water tempt many a walker down to the shore. Your walk around Guernsey will be one of contrasts and ever-changing scenery. The south coast boasts wild and rugged walking where you will hear the roar of the waves as they buffet the cliffs beneath you. The west is where the cliffs and coves give way to sea-grass fringed sand dunes. The landscape changes again in the north. Rocky inlets pepper the coastline sheltering brightly coloured fishing boats.

The island is dotted with towers, forts and hidden bunkers which are reminders of events that have shaped these islands and illustrate the areas tumultuous past.
