The route heads through the heart of Hadrian’s Wall Country and finally reaching Tynemouth on the East Coast. Enjoy the freedom of cycling on quiet roads and traffic free cycle paths as you explore the beautiful countryside.

Macs Adventure offer two itineraries on the Hadrian’s Cycleway taking in the best and most popular section, both starting from bowness and finishing in Tynemouth. Your first night's accommodation will be in Newcastle then we transport you, your bikes and your luggage to the start at Bowness - if you are hiring bikes we will fit them for you before you head off. We will arrange to meet you in Tynemouth after your cycle and transport you back to Newcastle for your last overnight stay. We provide hand-picked overnight accommodation in high quality B&B’s, country inns, and guesthouses. Each is unique and offers the highest levels of welcome. We also include daily door to door baggage transfers, a detailed map and pre-departure information pack as well as emergency support, should you need it.
