Hadrian's Wall Short Break Essential Information
Accommodation
One of the highlights of this tour is the high standard of the accommodation. We specifically choose the hotels, inns, guesthouses and B&B’s to ensure that you enjoy every minute of your stay. All offer a warm welcome to walkers, traditional hospitality and delicious local food.

Single Rooms
This independent walking holiday is available to solo walkers at a supplement. Please note that singles may not be of the same standard as twins/doubles.
Meals
A hearty breakfast is included each morning. Lunch and dinner are not included so you are free to choose from the available options. Most of your accommodations will more than happy to provide a packed lunch on request and this can be booked on arrival. Dinner is available either at your accommodation or nearby pubs and restaurants and your guide book will have details.
Baggage Transfer
Your bags will be transferred from your accommodation as per your itinerary and moved onto your next overnight accommodation. We ask you to limit your luggage to one bag of up to 15kg per person.

A well established country pub and hotel in the hamlet of wall provides a welcome rest after a tough day.

Greencarts Farm - Chollerford
Greencarts farm is a little way outside Chollerford and is situated on a working farm. Geared up for walkers they offer a warm welcome.

Travel Information
Getting to/from Corbridge
Corbridge can be easily reached from Newcastle by train (30 mins). There is on road parking available but it is limited.
Getting to/from Gilsland
From Gilsland the best way to get back is to take a taxi to Brampton then the train back to Corbridge from here. Alternatively you can take the Hadrian's Wall Bus back to Hexham and then a taxi.
