Mountain Bike Hire

To save the added expense and hassle of travelling with bikes many of our clients choose to hire bikes from us for their course or adventure.

Our packages are excellent value for money and include the following.

Mountain Bike
The key ingredient! All our bikes are good quality, well maintained and suitable for the trip you have booked.
We offer three different types of bike hire:
Standard: Front suspension mountain bikes which are perfect for our MTB courses and adventures. Typically these are Specialised Rockhopper, Giant XTC4 or similar. Great bikes for great trails.
Touring: The basic bike is the same specification as our standard bike hire but these bikes are fully equipped for touring with racks and panniers. These are perfect for our self-guided routes or touring routes.
Luxury: Full suspension XC trails bikes perfect for the demanding rider looking for a top class ride. We use Specialised FSR XC or similar. These bikes are perfect for our demanding Coast to Coast rides or the advanced rider looking to Ride the Seven Stanes in style.

Cycling Helmet
A cycling helmet is always a good idea and required on all our courses and adventures.

Lock
All bikes are supplied with a bike lock.

Maintenance Kit
We provide a basic maintenance kit which includes spare tube, tyre levers, pump, puncture repair kit and multi-tool.

Pickup & Return
Pickup points and times will vary depending on the tour you are joining. We will of course provide full details on booking. Unless specially arranged we do not generally do one way hires and you will need to return your bike to the pick-up point.

Booking
Bike Hire must be booked in advance and we cannot guarantee availability at all times although we will of course do our best to sort you out. Ideally please book hire at the same time as booking your MTB Course or Adventure.

Terms and Conditions
All bikes are hired subject to our Bike Hire Terms and Conditions which are available on our website www.macsadventure.com or on request.
