Did you hear about the couple who walked the West Highland Way then crossed the finishing line and went straight into Fort William registry office to get married? We can give you all the details. We also have plenty of examples of couples choosing to spend their honeymoons and their anniversaries on long distance walks, particularly the West Highland Way. We usually add a complimentary bottle of Champagne to their inventory as well as upgrades where possible. As for popping the question, how about climbing to the top of Ben Nevis before proposing?

We applaud efforts to raise money for the less fortunate but sometimes sponsored hikes have an inadvertent impact on the landscape as well as spoiling the environment for other travellers. Charity Treks on Ben Nevis are a case in point. Macs Adventure Holidays works closely with the Friend of Nevis in supporting sustainable tourism on Ben Nevis. We believe there is currently a big issue surrounding charity groups using Ben Nevis and consider it is time for responsible tourism operators to establish a code of conduct.

Considering a single event can attract one to two thousand participants, the current system is unsustainable. Contact us for more details and quotes.
