The Tour du Mont Blanc is Europe’s finest alpine trek. Walking the Tour du Mont Blanc is a journey of almost Himalayan proportions, filled with superlatives from start to finish. The route circles the Mont Blanc Massif, covering a distance of about 170km and including 10000m of ascent and descent.

The Tour du Mont Blanc is a true classic trek and one of the most popular in Europe. Passing through France , Italy and Switzerland as it makes its way around the Mont Blanc Massif you will visit Chamonix, Cormayeur, Champex and may more beautiful alpine villages.

The official route of the Tour du Mont Blanc has changed many times over the years and there are numerous variants of the tour. For most of its route the Tour du Mont Blanc meanders through high alpine meadows, but it does climb a number f significant passes, reaching a high point of over 2600m. The TMB is a tough alpine trip and the physical challenges of walking in the high mountains shouldn’t be underestimated, especially if the weather turns bad, which it can do in moments.

We offer four different walking holidays on the Tour Du Mont Blanc, covering varying amounts of the route and as TMB experts we can of course put together tailor made itineraries for your group.

Three of our Tour du Mont Blanc tours are based on mountain hut accommodation, which means you can stay high in the mountains each night, an incomparable experience that gets you into the true Tour du Mont Blanc spirit. If shared dormitories are not your thing then we also offer the Tour du Mont Blanc in comfort, where you will be staying in small hotels, auberges and private rooms.

All our walking holidays on the Tour du Mont Blanc include accommodation, breakfasts, most dinners, baggage transfer, detailed information pack and guidebook, maps and emergency support. We take all the hassle out of organising your adventure so that you can get on with soaking up the atmosphere and rugged scenery of the Mont Blanc Massif.
