Comments about Camino de Santiago Walking Holiday :
to avoid the crowds i went early-too early-started in snow travelled in rain -occasional glimpse of sun well organized and well supported with maps books etc accommodation very comfortable and warm-the more humble casas better than the more “posh” hotels and pousadas simply because their facilities were more appropriate to grubby hikers-plenty of radiators for clothes drying and a more personal understanding of a hiker’s needs
Camino was a fantastic experience

Tee Travel were perfect in organizing all aspects. All hotels were of a good standard, clean with friendly staff. Special mention to hotel Benhilde in Palas de Rei. [@]went over and above what one expects in Hotel hospitality. The Sarria to Santiago leg was about right for distances to walk. Day 3 a bit harder though.Overall excellent!

Comments about Camino de Santiago Walking Holiday :
This was a fantastic experience. I met some strange and wonderful people and shared an experience with some friends that was joyful, hard work and horizon expanding. The walking was hard work so my advice is train before hand and then train some more to break your boots in, it’s worth it.
A unique experience that only comes along once in a while. The planning and rooms by Macs Adventure were superb and the food and people were huge unexpected bonus, both were lovely. If your thinking of doing this don’t think anymore just do it.

What a fantastic experience from the time we arrived at atmospheric o’Cebreiro until we attended the Pilgrim’s Mass at Santiago de Compostella with the swinging of the botafumeiro. Everything went smoothly. We opted for baggage transfer and our luggage was awaiting us each day when we arrived at our accommodation. The accommodation was varied, full of character and each excellent in it’s own individual way. We’re already looking to see where you can take us next.

Comments about Camino de Santiago Walking Holiday :
The Camino itself is an amazing experience with or without Macs Adventure. What they did is provide me with the strength to just start. Every night I had accommodation booked, every day my bags were picked up and transported along the way.
I had a very different experience from those that were carrying all their things and staying in albergues along the way. But what was important was that I had MY experience.
Clare at Macs Adventure was always quick to reply to any questions that I had and the team with Tee Travel were great also.
The accommodation varied a lot, but it really depended on what was available in the areas I was staying in. I am sure that the team did their best.
The maps provided by Tee Travel regarding the location of the actual accommodation was at times poor. It was difficult to find a point of reference to even start. To be clear finding my way on the camino was fine and well marked out, but at the end of a days walking it was at times a slow process to find where I was staying and I personally feel the maps could have been more helpful.
I spent a lot of money on this holiday, but it was money well spent. I would highly recommend this company.

Comments about Camino de Santiago Walking Holiday :
I had been anxious about this, my first walking holiday abroad. The written advice and information was timely and clear, allaying much of my anxiety. Staff were very friendly and helpful and always called back quickly in response to messages.
The accommodation was varied, which added to the experience, and of a consistently high quality. The overall organisation could not be faulted.
My friend and I loved every aspect of the holiday, despite aching feet, and have recommended using MACs to others. The only minor criticism was the cost of the taxi from Santiago to Sarria as I often take a taxi journey of a comparable length in Greece, where it is almost half the cost.

All organised for us, great accomodation, seamless baggage transfer but prehaps less social than other accomadation options on the camino. That said, it was pre booked so we knew where we were sleeping every night !!! All accomodation was lovely, clean, comfortable and private !!! Perfect if you want your creature comforts after a day’s walking !!!
Also, good support from the UK when we needed it !!

The hotels were all great and in the best locations possible. The staff were all friendly. It helped that I speak fluent Spanish. The breakfast were all adequate and as expected. The luggage was always at my next hotel waiting for me which was really reassuring. You did a fantastic job!
Amazing!

Comments about Camino de Santiago Walking Holiday :
Me and my dad wanted to experience the camino de santiago, but we didn’t have much time and didn’t want it to be too exhausting. The holiday we booked was perfect: we could do just the final three days of the camino, the hotels were all booked for us, and our luggage was transported to the next hotel everyday. Everything was very well organized. The information before departure was great, the guidebook was a very nice present, and a welcome pack was ready for us at the first hotel. The luggage transfers were very smooth, the luggage was always ready in our room when we arrived at the next hotel. In general the accomodations were great, we especially liked Casa do Acivro in Rua. One hotel was not very good though: Pension o Retiro in Arzua. This hotel was a bit of a disappointment: it looked like one of these motorway hotels, on a main road, lots of concrete around it (a huge parking lot), no garden. We had a room at the side of the road and right above the bar; it was very noisy at night, both from people in the bar and from traffic. Also, the people weren’t very friendly. The other three hotels were great though, with super friendly hosts.
