Comments about Cowal Way Walking Holiday :
[...] Accommodation was all very good or excellent. Welcomes were great, much appreciated since it was very wet in May 2011 when I did this walk. Some wayfinding was tougher than you might expect eg the rhododendron-clogged/muddy/steep/rocky bit north of Tighnabruaich where underfoot conditions were a challenge too. Some extreme glaur (Scots – look it up!) was experienced on the otherwise short, tranquil and easy first leg. The Cowal Way was very quiet indeed, lovely. The route could probably benefit from some work on waymarking and the underfoot conditions in one or two areas. A great week and a lovely, peaceful taste of what Argyll has to offer.
Mac’s Adventure Response: Hi Maggie, thanks for your comments and glad to hear you enjoyed the Cowal Way! We will certainly feed back your comments on the waymarking to the appropriate people and appreciate you letting us know

It was a great walk with allways different kind of landscapes. I would like to walk this walk again.
There is one thing: their is a climb during the walk from Tighnabruaich to Glendaruel that can be too difficult if it has rained a lot and if you are not in a too good condition.
