friendly informative guide who ably accommodated the individual needs of our initially disparate group. Right mix of humour and attention to anyones concerns.
Great walk giving a varied experience particularly enjoyed the latter days away from habitation on the old roads.
Did not appreciate the soft toys and general decor of accommodation in Kinlochleven, could be deeply offensive to some.

Initially wasn’t sure about using Mac Tours – I thought I live in Scotland so surely can organise myself! They saved us time and money, and all the accomodation was spot-on and everything worked (expect one taxi pick up that was very quckly sorted). One thing that stood out was the feedback from MAC Tours suppliers. They had nothing but good things to say about the company which I thought was brilliant, cos happy suppliers means happy customers!

Really enjoyed the walk and the company in the trip. Most of the accomodations were good.Some of the walks were very long.

This walk with our knowledgeable guide was a cross between history, geology, culture, and exercise mixed with an “adult cold beverage” at the end of the day. A textured experience like the landscape we traversed.

The overall trip was great, everything I had hoped it would be since I had been looking forward to the trip for a year and hoping I would be able to complete the trek since I am a 77 year old woman. Great meeting folks from other parts of the world. I felt that the accomdations and helpfulness of the staff at the Drovers Inn was a bit below par for the trip.

Thank you Macs Adventures for organizing a wonderful walking holiday. Everything was perfect and more than met my expectations. This was my first trip to Scotland and I was overwhelmed by the wild beauty of the Highlands. I have hiked many places in the world and think Scotland the most beautiful. I look forward to another Scottish walking holiday organized by Mac Adventures. The guide (Ian) was superb – always enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The accommodations were part of the historical experience and first-rate. The group – mostly of Scots and Brits – was very congenial – making this truly a shared experience. The staff at Mac was very accommodating. I have been on guided hikes with other companies and Mac Adventures compares very favorably – very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you once again!

I found the west highland way the most rewarding but challenging thing that i have ever done!It was so well orgonised and the guide Ian Stephenson was really great.He really catered to everyones needs and his knowlege of the area made it all so interesting. I made some amazing friends and we all helped each other get through each day. The things i did not like were the Drovers Inn i found it very dirty and the staff were not the friendliest. Most of the accomodation was really great. The midges were terrible and i would recomend a midge net to anyone going! The senery was fantastic and worth going for alone.All in all Macsadventure done a great job and are well worth going with.
