Comments about East Highland Way Walking Holiday :
Walked the route for the first time this Spring with the wife and adventurous puppy, we are looking forward to next summer already as we plan to try it again. Due to tight timings (and slow walking)we missed out a few attractions from our book – otherwise no problems to mention. Midges were a little irritating in places so bring some repellent! Managed to navigate the route with just the guidebook maps, only used our notes occasionally. Feet wet through the Glen Banchor stretch so take care crossing some wide streams. Great views of the Scottish hills around Aviemore!! Well worth it.
