I loved the west highland way - even though it took two attempts.

The most memorable moment, for me, is when you reach the top of Connick Hill and then without warning Loch Lomond is revealed to you. Mind you it was the big steps in the forest as you come down from the Connick Hill into Balmaha that did my knee and had to give up at the Kinghouse first time..

The King House at Glencoe is an amazing place full of great photographs of many climbers and love it when the deer come to the fron t door at night looking for snacks.
