Walking in Tenerife
Tenerife, the largest, most varied and popular of the Canary Islands and is a perfect year-round walking destination. Walk through moonscapes of intense volcanic colour, lush forests filled with exotic vegetation and dramatic coastal landscapes.
Woods of aromatic bay laurel trees, vast deserts with bizarre basalt formations, humid areas with exuberant vegetation, colourful volcanic slopes, and of course the highest of all Spanish peaks: El Teide.
This is a self drive walking holiday based at four locations throughout the island. Varied and rewarding walking is combined with four hand picked hotels of authentic character. To get the most from Tenerife you will travel around the island by rental car (must be booked separately).
