I originally come from France and was bitten by the travel bug about a decade ago!
I was raised in Clermont-Ferrand which is in Auvergne, a stunning volcanic landscape (where the water Volvic comes from!). After I graduated in Tourism in 2012, I decided to move to Scotland for 6 months with the Leonardo da Vinci program. I went backpacking a few times up North and instantly fell in love with the country. I loved the Isle of Skye so much that I went twice in a short period of time. I even managed to get sunburnt on the top of the Old Man of Storr in May! After a year of more exploring and working in the country, I moved to Bordeaux, where I helped to organise cultural events in a rural area. I have also been cycling a lot through the vineyards and managed to cycle from Bordeaux to Lacanau and back (120 km) on a very hot day.
I also had the chance to travel to a few countries in Europe (Spain, Italy, Germany, Belgium…) and recently worked in Madeira for 7 months in the travel industry where I explored many stunning places including the famous levadas trails. Many other highlights included a breath-taking experience from the top of Pico de Arriero, walking by the 25 natural springs of Rabacal, and simply learning how to pronounce words in Portuguese! I also had the amazing opportunity to swim with wild dolphins in the ocean which was an unforgettable moment.
During my spare time, I enjoy taking fitness classes, singing, and playing the ukulele, which is a perfect sized instrument to take on trips with me. I am also currently enjoying upcycling furniture and flat renovation.
I am now starting a new chapter with Macs adventure as a Sales Support and I am happy to share my passion for travel and adventures with our Macs customers.
