Areas of expertise: Making customers happy

I was born and raised in Glasgow but absolutely love to travel and have been lucky enough to travel a fair bit.  I love both city breaks and exploring off the beaten path.  The highlights so far have been travelling to Nevada and having lunch with the natives at the top of the Grand Canyon before flying down into the Canyon by helicopter and then sailing down the Colorado River.  I also visited Mexico where I spent the day taking in the amazing pyramids and ruins of Chichen Itza.

Even after visiting some of the most beautiful places in the world, my absolute favourite is right here in Scotland.  I spent a lot of time on Islay growing up due to family connections and spent many a summer holiday and Easter Break there and think it’s just the most beautiful place on earth.  The people, the scenery and gorgeous beaches are why Islay will always have a special place in my heart and some of my best memories are from holidays on Islay.

My second home away from home is France.  I travel to Jura in Franche-Comté once a year to visit family and in 2014 I moved to Montpellier in the South of France for a year, where I taught English to children and used the time to improve my own French and learned more about the French-Mediterranean culture and how to live like the locals! I still have a long way to go but I’m hoping to one day become fluent in French.
