Susan Bryers: D&A Operations Specialist
Areas of expertise: International Operations
My love of travel started at a young age, stemming from my parents’ love of holidays, meaning I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time visiting destinations abroad, throughout the UK, and seeing much of my homeland, Scotland.
My appreciation for travel and other cultures (along with a desire to live abroad!) led me to study a degree in French and Spanish. I love nothing more than being able to surprise people and converse with them in their native language if I can, and have many more languages on my “to learn” list! During and after my time at university, I spent time living and working in the Canadian Rockies, the South of France, the beautiful island of Mallorca, and in London, and took advantage of travelling around these areas whenever I could.
After working in the retail and hospitality industries, moving into the travel industry seemed like a perfect progression, combining things I love most – people, travel and languages.
I am not the most outdoorsy person in the office, but I am always up for giving things a go and am looking forward to getting out and about more!
I am really excited to be working for Macs Adventure and being able to help other people organise great travelling adventures, along with continuing to tick off many of my own adventures from my (very long) bucket list!
