This discovery trip is graded easy and suitable for all abilities and ages. Sightseeing is by foot, car and 4x4 vehicle. On the day's trekking in the Ourika Valley you will be walking for between 4 and 7 hours and the walking can be adapted to suit your abilities.
Navigation
You will be accompanied by knowledgeable certified guides in Fez, Meknes, Volubilis, the Ourika Valley, Essaouira and Marrakech. In the Sahara, you will be accompanied by a Nomad guide.
Transfer & Vehicles
Private transportation, gas, tolls and an English-speaking driver are included for the duration of the trip in an air-conditioned car.

When To Go
This trip is available to start on any day of the week year-round. Please note that during the festival times of Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr that many restaurants and shops will be closed and this may affect your overall experience. If you are planning on going to Morocco during these times and your dates are flexible then you may wish to consider changing dates. For more information and advice, please don't hesitate to contact our specialists. The dates for Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr change on a yearly basis.

Time of Year
In the summer months between June and September, the temperatures in the cities can soar, however, remain cooler in the mountains. You may wish to note however that one of the most popular times of year to visit the High Atlas and Ourika Valley for walking is true during the summer months.
Getting to the Start
Air - We recommend flying into Casablanca Airport and out of Marrakech Airport. Both have good connections to the UK and Europe.
General Information
The distances and ascents/descents are approximations of the recommended routes. Please be prepared by packing all the necessary items, for example, sun hat, sunscreen. Your information pack has a detailed equipment list which includes standard walking gear such as good walking boots or shoes, lightweight clothing for summer, and a day pack.
Travel Insurance
