This tour is easy to moderate with daily distances varying from 18 – 36 miles, and an average of 26 miles. This route follows a combination of coastal and rural roads, as well as busier roads entering and exiting towns. You should be comfortable sharing the road with other users and be considerate of traffic regulations.Accommodation Information
One of the highlights of this tour is the high standard of accommodation. You will stay in carefully selected 3-4* small hotels. Your room will always have an ensuite or private bathroom. A delicious breakfast is also included.
Single Rooms and Solo Cyclists
If you require single rooms within your party we will always try and accommodate you subject to availability. A single supplement is payable. This trip is also available to solo cyclists.
Meals
A hearty breakfast is included in Campbell River. Lunch and dinners and remaining breakfasts are not included so you are free to choose from the surrounding options. Dinner is available either at your accommodation or at nearby restaurants.

When To Go
This tour is available from June to September. You can start on any date subject to availability. Vancouver Island is a popular destination with limited lodging capacity, so it is best to book as far in advance as you are able. Getting from the End
Your trip ends in the charming town of Campbell River. From Campbell River, you can take the Island Link express to either Victoria, Tofino, or Nanaimo. When booking the shuttle, arrange pick up from Tyee Plaza which is a very short walk from your final night's accommodation.
Alternatively, inquire with our sales specialist if you would like us to book you a private transfer to the Comox Marina if you are taking a flight onwards.
Baggage Transfer
Baggage transfer is included in the cost of your holiday. We ask you to limit your luggage to one bag of up to 20 kg per person.
Equipment
Our pre-departure information pack has detailed advice on what to bring. Please be prepared by packing all necessary items, including rain gear, sunscreen, and appropriate cycling clothing, as the weather can vary greatly. If you have any questions, we would be happy to share our tips and advice. Please limit your baggage to 1 bag per person of no more than 50 lbs / 20 kg. Your bag will be transported between your inns.
Bike Rental
Hire of a Giant Escape hybrid bike, helmet, lock, waterproof bag, flat repair kit, water bottle cage, and first aid kit are included in the trip cost. Please supply us with your height for your bicycle rental so we can make sure your bike is the perfect fit. E-bikes are also available should you want a little extra assistance to help you along the way. These are subject to availability and require a supplementary payment.
Travel Insurance
It is a requirement of booking this tour with Macs Adventure that you have suitable travel insurance that covers you for the activity and emergency evacuation and hospital care.
