Great part of the country to visit!

The accommodations were wonderful, especially the monastery and the hotel in Abalos. The wine in the region was amazing. Highly enjoyed the Frank Gehry winery - recommend the tour and eating at the restaurant. Not a lot of English speakers in the area, but everyone was helpful. The hardest part was getting to the first location. It was is a remote area with little transportation options. We ended up renting a car and were able to have it transferred between hotels. It was nice to have an option other than biking, such as a day in Bilbao and a day hiking on the Camino.

Great times in La Rioja!

I really enjoyed my experience on the bike and would absolutely do it again! I was a bit apprehensive being a single female traveler, but everything went so smoothly. The trip was well organized, the maps were very clear and the hotels were beautiful! I hope to do this again soon.
