Areas of expertise: US Marketing Manager
Growing up in Galway on the west coast of Ireland I often looked out at the Atlantic dreaming of what the world had to offer. My first trip abroad was to the US when I was six years old, visiting family in Boston and New York and that’s when the dreaming began.
Apart from that, most of my holidays as a child were spent at home exploring Ireland and all it’s beauty. When I finished my marketing degree in Galway I set off on my adventures and did the usual gap year visiting South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. This is where I got my real love for travel and decided I wanted to work in the travel industry. I returned to Ireland for a short visit before moving to Scotland to do a Masters in Tourism. Scotland and the people are wonderful, so it’s no wonder I’m still here eight years later.
After graduation, I was lucky enough to get a job in the adventure travel industry and after a short stint working in air travel, I am happy to get back to my adventure travel roots. While I’ve also been fortunate enough to explore lots of Scotland, parts of Europe and Canada I have a long list of places that I want to explore.
