A simple and fun monthly contest! We award the best photo (or video clip) taken on our trips a prize of some top quality outdoor gear.

What makes a #MacsMoment?
We aren't looking for technically perfect shots, we want to see the views that captured your imagination, the aesthetically pleasing sights, the wildlife encounters, summit selfies and those other moments of fun and camaraderie along the way.

What can you win?
Outdoor gear! A rucksack, a jacket... prizes vary each month, but we always choose brands we love for style and performance.

The Rules Are...

  • Share photos of your favourite trip moments, using #MacsMoment on Instagram* 

  • Make sure you include a description of the photo, and where it was taken.

  • The contest runs year-round. Each month the Macs team will round up the photos we've received that month and vote to select the winner of a lovely new bit of outdoor kit! We've given away top-brand jackets, backpacks, high-spec trekking poles, vouchers, and more.

    To see more travel photos, adventure inspiration and holiday ideas, #MacsMoment on Instagram is one of our favourite ways to browse.

Terms & Conditions
  • You can enter as many photos as you like, and we welcome short video clips too.
  • You must be a Macs Adventure client.
  • You must have travelled with Macs Adventure.
  • The submission date for each entry defines the month for which your entry will be considered.
  • Entries will be judged anonymously by our team, and one winner selected for the previous month.
  • Prizes will comprise of one or more items of quality outdoor kit. We may also offer vouchers for outdoor kit.
  • We will always endeavour to send the item in your size or colour preference and before the end of the following month. Should there be any problem with availability from our suppliers, we will let you know and agree a suitable substitute or voucher for the value of the item.
  • Important: Macs Adventure Company will retain the rights to use all photos or videos submitted on their own website, re-sharing on social media, in their own print, or in promotional materials, so please make sure you are happy to share.
  • The prize you are eligible for will depend on the month you send your photo in (not necessarily the month you travel) Have fun!
