Activity Level & Terrain
This tour combines a mix of walks which are graded anywhere from easy to moderate. However it is graded moderate overall as there are some steep ascents and descents. The walks follow a mixture of old mule tracks, gravel roads, footpaths and minor roads.
Navigation
As some of the walks on the long-distance route, the Corfu Trail, these will be intermittently waymarked. Some of the routes will not be waymarked. However on this tour we provide navigation in the Macs Adventure Smartphone App which you can download for use off-line. See your information pack on how to do this. You will need to use the app to navigate on this tour as we do not provide turn by turn directions. If you simply follow the little blue line (you are the dot) this will ensure that you won't get lost.
Accommodations
On this 7-night tour you will stay in a combination of properties, from a 3* hotel in Messonghi, which is close to the beach, to a 3* hotel in the centre of Corfu Town and a hotel in Barbati in a quiet area close to the sea. The rooms that you will stay in are all rated as superior and aside from the central one in Corfu Town will have sea views. All rooms have private facilities and almost always they will have a balcony or a terrace.
Alternate Accommodation
In most cases you will stay in the standard accommodation that we offer on this trip. However, in particularly busy times of year or in the off-season when some of the standard hotels are not yet open an alternative hotel maybe necessary. However, we will always try to maintain the same standards of quality and the walks will never be affected.
