With a very distinct feel from Southern England, the north of England is perfect for a walking holiday, steeped in charm and history, and with some of the most diverse and beautiful landscapes in the UK.

From the rolling green fields of the Yorkshire Dales, to the lofty "fells" of the Lake District, adventure is never far away here! Perfect for inn-to-inn walking, there are several well-known National Trails "up north" including the historic Hadrian's Wall Path and the mighty Coast to Coast. You can also head to the coast and follow dramatic clifftop paths or sweeping sand dunes along the Cleveland Way or Northumberland Coastal Path

Since 2005, Macs Adventure has been helping walkers enjoy the delights of this region and you can be rest assured that our team have the knowledge and expertise to make sure you find the right tried & tested route for you.
