Erin Pattie: Customer Experience Manager
Areas of expertise: Making sure our customers are happy
Growing up, I spent many Summers travelling both abroad and throughout the UK as my family and I love nothing more than seeing (and tasting) what other cultures have to offer and, perhaps even more so, soaking up local history.
Having studied modern languages at the University of Glasgow I developed a real love of foreign cultures and, during a spell working in France, this developed into a passion for travel. After travelling and working throughout Western Europe I eventually came back to my studies and focused my attentions on enhancing other tourists' experiences here in my home country!
I dedicated most Summers throughout my studies to working for the world's largest open arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe before eventually working in Scotland's national tourist board, helping people to navigate their way around the country. Upon returning to the city that I now call home, I worked in a distillery, sampling and learning all there is to know about Scotland's national drink; whisky!
Now I'm so pleased to be able to take my love for travel and use it to help other travellers discover their own adventures with Macs Adventure!
