Camino Portugués: Stage 2: Santarém to Coimbra

This section visits three of the most amazing cities on the trip and follows Roman roads and farm tracks through olive groves and the rolling Serras (hills) this is truly a spectacular section of the walk. The trail from stage 2 onwards is mostly walking through rural countryside, until you reach Coimbra. Which is a major Portuguese university city. For the most part you will be mostly walking through old country roads and past lovely small Hamlets. This section is very tranquil and you will feel immersed in the country side along this trail.
