Mountain biking at Glentress just continues to get better and better. I was lucky enough to teach an introduction to mountain biking course at Glen tress last weekend.
I’ll be honest and admit that it is a while since I was down at Glentress as Andy and Keith now run most of our MTB courses. I was absolutely blown away by how much the trails have improved since I was last biking at Glentress. Not only is the construction of the new peel centre well advanced (I assume as they seem to be moving half The Borders around the site) but the amount of new trail is breathtaking.
The new trail has improved the riding enourmously and the riding is better than ever. The riding really is mind blowing and it’s inspired me to really push our mountain bike holidays in Scotland because the world really needs to experience how awesome mountain biking in Scotland is.
An idea we have had on the back burner for some time is an informal mountain biking club for our friends, clients and hangers on. Inspired by this weekend’s riding this is something we are going to be setting up soon so if you would like to come and ride with the Macs crew let us know. We will probably coordinate through our Macs Adventure Facebook page so please become a fan.
