Holy Years on the Camino don't come around often. The last was 2021, and after 2027 you'll be waiting until 2032. When St James's Day falls on a Sunday, the Holy Door of Santiago Cathedral opens - and pilgrims from every corner of the world walk towards it.
We think spring is the time to join them. The trails are quieter than high summer, Galicia is green from winter rain, and if you time it for Holy Week, you'll arrive as Spain's Easter processions fill the streets.
