Early Birds!: Why now is the time to book a 2015 walking or cycling holiday
It's never to early to start making resolutions for the year ahead, and if taking on a challenge, getting healthy, and seeing the world feature in your priorities, a walking or cycling holiday could be the perfect solution (and hey, we've got discounts for you if you book this September!).
Why plan ahead?
- Plenty time to train to make sure you're up for your challenge. The Tour du Mont Blanc, the C2C Cycle, or the West Highland Way are popular goals.
- Secure availablity: The most popular routes have short peak seasons, and getting in early secures the best accommodations and ensures you won't be disappointed.
- Save £25 or $40USD per person on any 2015 Macs Adventure (booked in September 2014)
- Relax and look forward to a happy and healthy year ahead.
Where to Walk or Cycling in 2015
Need some ideas? The UK's national trails are enduringly poplular, partly as it really feels like an achievement finishing one, and partly as you can "collect" them! The Camino de Santiago is a true once-in-a-lifetime, and some even find it life-changing! One for the bucket list, and there's no time like the present. If you've been swept up in the cycling boom but aren't really sure of your capabilities, a classic flat canal or river cycle is perfect for an introduction to a cycling holiday. Try the Danube Cycle Path, or the Canal du Midi. The Tour du Mont Blanc was definitely trending in 2014, and we've been astounded but the route's poplarity this year. Sophia, Neil, and Sarah have now all been out checking out the route and didn't want to come back!Get in Shape Early
