Feedback Favourites: Smooth transfers, Sun baked & Sheep of plenty
The feedback is in and this week's favourites include the Camino, Trossachs Trail, Gran Canaria: Island of Contrasts and Hadrian's Wall.  Thank you, again, for taking the time to provide your invaluable opinion on our tours.  This information helps to ensure we continue to organise thousands of holidays that meet (and succeed!) your expectations. 1         Stephen Butt describes the Camino as flawless!  "The transfer from Santiago de Compostela to Sarria was smooth.  The daily luggage transfer went without any hitches.  There were no problems.  All the hotels and pensions were clean, comfortable and well located.  Some of the rooms were a little small - but adequate.  I got a good night's sleep every night and had a hot, powerful shower every morning.  All the breakfasts were enough to set you up for the day - quite a few of them were very indulgent!"  We're happy you enjoyed yourself, Stephen! walker-aberfolye-481 We were pleased to hear Lone Pine Walkers from Maryland, USA, had a lovely Autumn Trossachs Trail Walk.  "Macs Adventure Trossachs Trail walk was exactly as described in the rural Trossachs Park.  We enjoyed the accommodations and the breakfasts. The B&B hosts were helpful and pleasant.  Baggage transfers were timely."  They easily followed the directions and were careful to keep track of time and distance travelled.  As they love the great outdoors, this was a once in a lifetime experience!  If you are looking for a quiet adventure in the Scottish Highlands, then they would recommend this trip to anyone with walking experience. Gran Canaria: Island of Contras662.Gran-canaria-Roque-Nublots would be recommended to a friend from both Halifax World Traveller and JG from London. "We found Gran Canaria to be an island of great contrast, from the sun baked, barren landscape of the coastal areas, to the lush green and wonderful mountainous region of the hinterland, particularly Tejeda." JG describes Tejeda similarly "The walks from Tejeda were beautiful and varied.  Watching the sunset from the terrace of the hotel and eating at the Case de Caminero were also highlights.  We would have preferred more time there rather than moving on.  (In fact, we walked back there rather than stay on the cloudy side of the island for our last night.)" Broomshaw_Lough_450   The Honeymooners from Cleveland USA really enjoyed the night at Brookside Villa in Gilsland while walking Hadrian's Wall Path"We walked Hadrian's Wall as part of our honeymoon. The van service was excellent.  We always found our luggage waiting for us when we arrived at the accommodations.  For the urban dwellers, be prepared to be in close proximity to farm animals and their droppings.  There were plenty of cows and sheep. If you have been on a Macs Adventure, join the conversation! We're on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, so post, tweet, follow, pin and insta us! We want to hear your stories and see your photos.
