Route Notes Issue Two: Macs Adventure’s Magazine
Hot off the press!
We were delighted with response to our first issue of our interactive online active holiday magazine, Route Notes. So, we've now published Issue Two of our quarterly publication to give you some more travel tips and inspiration.
Neil's Tour du Mont Blanc
Neil Lapping, our Chief Adventure Officer, has published his Tour du Mont Blanc story, sharing his experience on the world famous alpine route. View his video diary and read his 5 reasons why he reckons the Tour du Mont Blanc rocks!
Nikki's New Trips
Nikki and Sally have been busy developing a host of exciting new walking and cycling holidays over the last year, and Nikki introduces some of her favourites, from relaxed alpine walking (if the Tour du Mont Blanc sounds like a bit much for you!), to exploring the Grand Canyon!
Meet The People Behind the Experience
On a self-guided walking or cycling holiday, you don't rely on the same guide day in day out, instead you meet a variety of people who assist you on your way and form a big part of your trip experience. From accommodation owners, to baggage transfer teams, and of course you'll meet many more people along your way simply walking or cycling similar routes or in cafe's or bars along the path. This is part of the beauty of a self guided holiday! So in our magazine we introduce you to a few of our regular accommodation owners and local representatives, to let you get to know the personalities behind the tours.
We're really thrilled by our new issue, and I could go on, but the best way to tell you about it is simply to say "read it"! So please grab a coffee and browse through our magazine. We hope you enjoy it!
