Our 2013 Best Bits Contest winner and valued Macs customer Sharon Lotz recently took on a new challenge: walking 92km over 5 days in the beautiful country of Croatia! In 2013, Sharon walked the West Highland Way with her good friend Chris Jeeves and shared this great photo with us:   Both of Sharon's trips have been to raise money for the Restmount Children's home in her home country of South Africa. This fantastic charity takes groups of 30 school kids on wonderful sponsored holidays that they would otherwise be unable to experience. This gives the opportunity to try out fun new outdoor activities and take in the beautiful scenery of eastern South Africa. For more info on this great charity, check out www.restmount.org. This year, Sharon persuaded three of her friends to join her on a long distance walk for Restmount, and together they decided to take on the Istria: Villages and Vineyards route. In July, the group of four walked 91km over five days, from Buje to Lovran through the Croatian countryside.   Read more on their journey on Karen's blog.
