Best Time of Year to Visit Tuscany

The best time to visit Tuscany for walking is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October). Throughout these months, the weather is mild, the trails are less crowded, and the scenery is absolutely stunning, with blooming flowers or golden leaves. Summer can be quite busy and is often too hot for a walking trip. On the flip side, winter brings much colder temps meaning most trails close for the season. As a result, we don't offer walking trips in Tuscany during the winter months.
