Grade: it’s graded moderate, perfect for road cyclists that are looking to add sunshine to their winder rides or for roadies that are new to cycling.

Where?

This road cycling adventure takes place in Lanzarote, the easternmost island of the Canary Islands. Cycling through the Lanzarote coastline is an incredible experience, riding through loads of stunning beaches and magical volcanic scenery.

Why Cycle Here?

Lanzarote, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, is a fascinating island with an astonishing geology of 300 volcanic cones. It is probably one of the most perfect adventures for a winter sunshine cycling escape. Tick off the best road cycling routes of Lanzarote as you follow sweeping Atlantic coastlines and rugged hill climbs, enjoying a ride through the volcano of The Parque Nacional de Timanfaya, a live volcano in the island. Finally, after a day of cycling, you can relax each day by the poolside before refuelling on local delicious seafood. Each evening will be spent in 3* fincas (country houses) or 4* hotels.

Volcano Timanfaya

Mount Timanfaya is still an active volcano
