King Ludwig's Way is one of Germany’s best-known footpaths through the beautiful Upper Bavaria to King Ludwig’s Neuschwanstein Castle.   Danube Cycle Path Ride on If you like flat, mostly traffic-free cycling in spectacular countryside, the Danube Cycle Path will tick every box – and more. The path follows most of the length of the 1800-mile River Danube through Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
