Snowy Start to the West Highland Way Season
Well done to the hardy walkers who persevered on the West Highland Way last week, and bad luck to those whose plans were thwarted by snow and blizzards.
The unbelievable Scottish Winter continued last week with several of our clients walking the West Highland Way getting caught out by unseasonable snow falls. With the help of local hoteliers, taxi drivers and even a road construction crew all safely reached their destinations, despite the weather.
When the Scottish weather strikes our local team is always on hand to help, advise and sort out alternative arrangements. It's this kind of service that makes Macs Adventure Holidays special and here is just one of the emails we received yesterday.
Just to say a big thank you to everyone at Macs Adventure for such a well organised walk and for your concern for me and my daughter when the weather turned a bit nasty. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish the walk due to the heavy snow but can assure you I will be back to complete the remaining two day section.
I would be grateful if you could pass on my comments and appreciation to your entire team and rest assure I will have no hesitation in recommending your organisation to anyone seeking a similar trip.
Brendan MacKinven, Crieff
We look forward to welcoming Brendan back and hope you will join us soon to walk the West Highland Way
