The "Best Bits" of Life at Macs Adventure
In the spirit of our Best Bits Competition, inspiration sparked to consider the Best Bits of Life at Macs Adventure. After careful review of the comments gained from asking the team, here are our Best Bits of Life at Macs Adventure:
“The diversity of the office! We are from all over the place: Scotland, England, Wales, South Africa, New Zealand and Canada. It definitely makes for a diverse work environment. It also enhances the knowledge of our destinations and tours as most of us have either lived, visited or travelled there (Especially Dan Greenwood, I am convinced he has had nine lives)!”

“I like having lunch on the canal when the sun is out and the (mostly) relaxed vibe in the office, Dan’s crazy travel stories, and Ewan’s out of office messages.”
"I love speaking to people every day about their holidays and love when people get really excited about their trip!”
Macs Adventure Head Quarters: Glasgow, UK
“Cycling, wearing shorts, eating biscuits, drinking tea and happy customers.”
“My best bit of working at Macs Adventure is the lovely team we work with!! (and all the cakes and biscuits!!)" Macs Adventure 2013 Bake Off
“Having just returned yesterday from a fantastic few days walking the Coast to Coast in the Lake District, I’d say that oneof the best bits of being part of the Macs team is going out to explore some of the Great British Isles’ most incredible scenery and bumping into our clients Bill, Beth and David along the way!”

“The history of Macs Adventure would definitely make the list. Chief Adventure Officer, Neil Lapping, founded Macs Adventure ten years ago, operating from his one bedroom flat in Glasgow. Over the last decade, Macs Adventure has taken off, organizing thousands of holidays each year. We also have a beautiful office on the canal with a team of 17. A true testament to passion, hard work and dedication!”

"Reading and hearing about our Adventurers trips! I love seeing the photos, hearing their stories or even reading a thank you email. Going on holiday is what people look forward to all year, it is a great feeling knowing we were part of making sure that it was the best experience possible."
