Using Water-to-Go When Travelling 

• Activate the filter before use. We recommend doing this before you leave for your adventure.

• Some bottles have a time strip. This is a visual reminder which lets you know how much life is left in your filter. This will also need activating before use.

How to Clean Your Reusable Water–to-Go Bottle 

• Clean the bottle with hot, soapy water after each use. This will help prevent mould and bacteria growth. 

• Clean the activated carbon filter periodically by swirling the bottle with a 50/50 vinegar and water solution. Rinse thoroughly afterwards. 

• Don’t put the filter in the dishwasher or use abrasive brushes that can damage the filter membrane.

Replacing the Filter

• The filter should be replaced every 2 months or 150 litres to ensure optimal filtration. 

• Replacement filters can be purchased directly from the Water-to-Go website and shipped internationally.

• Be sure to replace the filter before each trip to maximise filtration on the go. An old filter will be less effective at removing impurities.
