Walk the first stage of the Camino del Norte from San Sebastian to Bilbao, passing through charming seaside villages and then into the mountains and through historic towns. Starting in the European Capital of Culture 2016, San Sebastian, walk along the beautiful coastline of northern Spain before heading inland to the green mountains of the Basque Country. Stop in the historic town of Gernika, made famous by Picasso's emotive work of art of the same name. Continue through more ancient hamlets, woodland and farmland before finishing in Bilbao, home to the famous Guggenheim Museum.
