The Macs Impact Report 2025 reflects a year of progress and thoughtful refinement. Following a milestone year in 2024, our focus shifted from launching new initiatives to embedding our values and strengthening how we operate across the business.

Rather than chasing rapid change, in 2025 we focused on consistency, care, and follow-through. This meant strengthening the foundations of our self-guided hiking and biking trips - experiences that naturally offer a lower-impact way to explore the world while delivering meaningful benefits to the communities we visit.

Our partnerships remained central to this approach. By working closely with locally owned accommodations, transportation providers, and suppliers, we deepened long-standing relationships and ensured the value of travel is shared more directly within the regions we operate. These collaborations go beyond operations - they help keep our trips rooted in local knowledge, character, and care.

We also placed strong emphasis on listening. Feedback from our team, partners, and travelers played a key role in shaping ongoing improvements across our trips and internal processes. This continued dialogue reinforces our belief that sustainability isn’t a fixed destination, but something that evolves through attention, learning, and adaptation.

Building on previous commitments, we continued to develop our understanding of our carbon footprint and increased support for path maintenance - helping protect the landscapes we love to explore.
