This is our most challenging West Highland Way itinerary, featuring longer daily distances that will appeal to confident, fit walkers who enjoy a good challenge. Towering mountains, tranquil lochs and rushing rivers combine to reward you with a unique and ever-changing landscape as you journey 96 miles from Milngavie (Glasgow) to Fort William. Walking the full route in just five days promises a true test of grit and endurance. In the evenings, unwind in welcoming B&Bs, and stock up on hearty Scottish food ahead of your next big day.
