Coast to Coast Walk West (9 Days & 8 Nights)

  • Hike the hardest and most beautiful Coast to Coast section through the Lake District
  • Soak up views which have inspired famous writers such as Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter
  • Overnight in picturesque Lakeland villages with slate build houses and great ice cream
  • Follow mountain trails crisscrossed with ancient stone walls and Herdwick sheep
  • Sleep in historic Victorian hotels and cozy B&B’s, and enjoy pints in cozy pubs
The Coast to Coast West takes you through the dramatic upland scenery of the English Lake District from St Bees, located on the Irish Sea, to the market town of Kirkby Stephen. Created by Alfred Wainwright, this is one of the world’s greatest walks and you’ll complete the western section on this particular itinerary. Your overnights are in small, cozy B&B’s full of Lakeland charm and character. You will be able to savor local ales in the cheery pubs whilst chatting with your fellow ‘coast to coasters’ sharing stories from the trail. A great introduction to this route if you are short of time and just fancy a flavor of the north of England.
