Top 8 Beaches of the Balearic Islands

The Balearic Islands are simply littered with beautiful beaches perfect for a dip in the sea after a long day of cycling or walking, but here we list our top 8!

Cala Deia, Mallorca - Surrounded by rocky cliffs, this tiny cove lies near the artistic town of Deia. Popular for snorkelling due to it's rocky nature, it's the perfect place to relax whilst in the Sierra de Tramuntana.

Cala Deia

Es Trenc, Mallorca - At nearly 2km long this long white sandy beach with turquoise waters is perfect for a refreshing dip in the sea!

Sa Calobra, Mallorca - Part of the appeal of this beach is the fact that it is pretty difficult to get to, in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana. However, we recommend taking a boat trip from Port de Soller whilst on our Mallorca Coast & Mountain Trails tour. Its worth the time to relax at this idyllic cove between two steep rocky cliffs.

Sa Calobra Bay

Cala Turqueta, Menorca - The aptly named Turqueta Bay on the sheltered south coast of Menorca is famous for its azure-coloured waters. Due to its sheltered location its perfect for swimming and snorkelling!
