When To Go
This tour is available from mid-May to mid-October. Any time within this period is ideal for walking. August can be very busy as this is the main holiday-making month for the French and other European countries. September and October are calmer and Brittany often experiences an 'Indian Summer' during this time with pleasant temperatures.
Weather and Climate
With a climate similar to that of Cornwall, Brittany average temperatures in the summer are around 25 degrees Celsius. However, in recent years, France has known heat waves in July and August and Brittany has experienced 30+ degrees temperatures for multiple days. When the temperatures rise above 30 degrees Celsius, try to start early in the morning, avoid the midday sun, wear hat/sunglasses/sunscreen, and ensure you carry plenty of water.Getting to the Start
