South West Coast Path: Westward Ho! to Padstow (8 Days & 7 Nights)

  • Walk in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty from Devon into Cornwall.
  • Fantastic local seafood restaurants, like Rick Stein’s in Padstow.
  • Sublime views from the many headlands, particularly Hartland point.
  • Tintagel Castle, the mythical birth place of King Arthur.
  • UNESCO North Devon Biosphere Reserve with special landscapes and wildlife.
Walk the South West Coast Path from Devon into Cornwall from the wonderfully named Westward Ho! to the fashionable seaside town of Padstow. The trail varies every step of the way swooping down from high cliffs to secluded coves, meandering through pretty villages and crossing vast sandy beaches. Enjoy freshly caught fish for dinner, wander through Clovelly’s cobbled streets and explore Tintagel Castle, the birthplace of King Arthur. Wildlife is ever present, such as dolphins, seals, whales and seabirds including, if you are lucky, puffins.
