Our partnership with Leave No Trace

We are proud to partner with Leave No Trace on our mission to make a real difference and advocate for low impact self-guided travel.

Leave No Trace

As part of our journey towards B Corp status, we are delighted to be working with Leave No Trace, a non-profit organization that specializes in educating the public about the best solutions for protection of the natural world, backed up by extensive scientific research.

7 Principles of Leave No Trace

Guided by the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace, the organization are on a mission to build a sustainable future for the outdoors and planet through education, science and stewardship. Through their outreach, they are able to provide solutions to various problems such as trashed natural areas, polluted waters, damaged trails and overcrowded outdoor spaces.

The Leave No Trace 7 Principles provide an accessible framework that Macs' customers can put into practice and apply to their adventures, or everyday life!

They are:

  • Plan Ahead and Prepare
  • Travel & Camp on Durable Surfaces
  • Dispose of Waste Properly
  • Leave What You Find
  • Minimize Campfire Impacts
  • Respect Wildlife
  • Be Considerate of Others
